Typical Swedish Dishes.
It is difficult to say what is typical Swedish dishes. If you as elderly people you might get answers like meatballs and "kåldolmar". These dishes has for a very long time been what you typically eat in Sweden but for most dishes you find out in the end that they are influenced from visits in foreign countries. If you ask young people what they typically eat at home they will say pasta, tacos, pizza... The dishes we present here are not what all Swedish people eat each week but, especially not among young people, but they are what we call "Svensk Husmanskost" - you might say that we eat it when we like to taste something Swedish ...
